SENSELY AND DUDLEY CCG

Sensely is working with the NHS, NHS Digital, Healthcare Providers and Dudley CCG within the West Midlands and NHS 111 to deliver an integrated mobile offering. Through an artificially intelligent virtual concierge – in the form of a nurse avatar named Olivia. Using advanced machine learning and data driven actions, Olivia directs the patient to the appropriate care or resources including:

  • self care through NHS Choices

  • clinician advice through interaction with the NHS 111 service

  • scheduling a GP appointment

  • patient services

 

Ultimately the combination of mobile technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning will help achieve
NHS NIB 2020 outcomes regarding:

  • Improved patient experience – personalised health and care

  • Improved provision of self care information

  • Reduction in inappropriate demand on urgent care services as a result of people being directed to the right place, right time, the first time

  • Allow direct appointment scheduling within a variety of patient services
